Police in Everman call off a weekend search for a missing six-year-old boy.
In a statement, Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer said dozens of investigators continue to work tirelessly to find Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez.
Noel has not been seen since November, and investigators have presumed him dead.
Chief Spencer said large searches had been planned to be conducted this weekend, but he said data analysis has led investigators to change those plans.
Spencer said in order not to compromise the ongoing criminal investigation, he's unable to go into detail of the data that investigators are collecting.
He also didn't go into detail on what the new plans are for this weekend.
Earlier this week, cadaver dogs alerted to a rug and soil on the property where Noel and his family lived, potentially indicating that human remains had been there at some point.
Noel's mother, stepfather and six siblings are all believed to have fled to India, and Spencer said Everman Police are working with the FBI to find them and bring them back to Tarrant County.
