Kroger and Albertsons are in the middle of a corporate merger that could see almost 580 stores get sold off as part of a divestment before the two companies could complete things to the tune of more than $24.5 billion.

The Dallas Morning News released a list of 26 stores in Dallas-Fort Worth that could be sold to C&S Wholesale Grocers as part of the deal. It means some Tom Thumbs, Albertsons, and Market Street locations could be under new ownership soon.

KRLD Business Analyst David Johnson joined Ask the Expert on Wednesday to discuss the deal.
