Many people are finding themselves in need of a body shop after being involved in an accident during the winter storm.
Emanuel Gonzalez is co-owner of Silver Lining Collision in DFW and says there are several questions you need to ask when looking for the right collision repair business.
Always check the reviews and take recommendations from people you trust.
“Pick a body shop that’s been recommended by friends and family,” he said. “You have your choice of what body shop you can take it to.
You don’t always have to take to a shop that your insurance company tells you to go to.”
He does add that wherever you decide to go, make sure they will work with your insurance company and will guarantee their work.
Gonzalez says they don’t see a massive increase in business following a winter storm because of the number of people who stayed off the roads. But he says it will be busier than usual for a few weeks.
