WHITE SETTLEMENT (1080 KRLD)- White Settlement police officers catch a catalytic converter suspect in the act - in a very unusual way.
Police say Wednesday morning an officer was refueling when he heard the sound of a cordless drill. It was an odd sound at that time of morning so he went to investigate.

Police say that's when the officer saw 33-year-old Juan Aguilar. He tried to run but both officers caught up with him and arrested him while he tried to hide on a neighbor's porch.
Police say it's very rare to catch a catalytic suspect thief in the act.
Aguilar has been charged with felony theft, evading arrest and a Tarrant County warrant.
