White Settlement police release photos of wanted motorcyclist

Wanted motorcyclist
White Settlement PD

WHITE SETTLEMENT (1080 KRLD)- White Settlement police are asking for help tracking down a motorcyclist that led them on a brief chase yesterday afternoon.

Police say they tried to pull the driver over for not having his license plate or registration on display, but instead of stopping he sped off down White Settlement Road.

The chase was abandoned out of concern for other drivers when the motorcyclist turned onto I-30.

The driver is described as a black man, possibly in his 20s, wearing a black helmet, black shirt and shorts. Police say he was carrying a white and red backpack that contained a female drawing on the back, which they're hoping someone will be able to recognize.

At this point, detectives have not ruled out the possibility that the motorcycle was stolen.

Anyone with information on the identity of this man should contact Sergeant Michelle LeNoir at mlenoir@wspd.us or by calling 817-246-7070. Anonymous tips can also be made through Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
