On Ask the Expert, Dr. Zaid Fadul joined KRLD. He is a U.S. Air Force Flight Surgeon and Medical Director at Better U. He is a mental health expert, specializes in PTSD, trauma, and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Fadul shares that anxiety and fear can trigger panic attacks, PTSD flashbacks, and intense distress. He also shares ways to overcome and manage symptoms as well as breaks down why some of these anxieties might exist outside of what we think may be just due to flying.
