Downtown Dallas is set to transform into a winter wonderland on Wednesday as Montana's Yellowstone Country brings 30,000 pounds of snow to Main Street Garden Park.

The event, part of a marketing effort to promote the region as a travel destination, will allow attendees to play in the snow and learn more about travel opportunities in Montana.

The free event will take place from 4-7 p.m. at 1902 Main St., near the corner of Harwood and Main streets.

Robin Hoover, executive director of Montana's Yellowstone Country, expressed excitement about showcasing the region's winter activities, including Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and sleigh rides. Despite the lack of natural snowfall this week, the event promises a snowy experience for North Texans.

Visitors can expect a variety of activities and information booths highlighting Montana's attractions.

Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and bring their families for a fun-filled evening.
