A woman has been found shot to death in east Dallas overnight.
Just after midnight, gunshots were reported at a convenience store on Winslow Avenue near I-30. Police got there to find a car with the driver's door perforated with bullet holes and the victim was dead inside.
Crime scene technicians spent much of the night on scene gathering evidence while officers tried to find witnesses.
For now, police don't know why the victim was shot nor who did it.
