Hutchins Police say a report of a robbery led to a chase Thursday which ended with the discovery of a woman's body inside the car. Police were called to the Motel 6 near I-45 and Dowdy Ferry about 11 a.m. Thursday.
Police say someone there had been robbed. A witness provided a description of the car and license number. Police found the car on I-45.
Hutchins Police say the car led officers on a chase about four miles into Dallas. They say the car stopped in an alley near I-20 and Bonnie View; three people ran off.
Police arrested one person. Dallas Police and the Dallas County Sheriff's Department joined the search for the other two.
When they went to the car, Hutchins Police say a woman's body was found inside. The medical examiner is now confirming how she died; her identity has not been released.
Hutchins Police say detectives are now reviewing surveillance video from the hotel and area nearby to identify the two who escaped.
