DALLAS (NewsRadio 1080 KRLD) -- One woman is dead after a shooting in Oak Cliff shooting near the Dallas Zoo on Monday, police say.
Just before 8 p.m., Monday drivers on southbound Interstate 35E saw a woman on the ground in the middle of traffic near Marsalis Avenue, Dallas police said.
Police said officers and paramedics found the woman had been shot more than once and was already dead. Police closed down the southbound side for hours to complete the investigation.
Investigators have not determined why the victim was shot or who did it.
