
One woman is dead after another woman opened fire inside a Richardson Starbucks Monday night.
Police reports say the shots were fired just past 7:00 p.m. at the popular coffee house. Police learned that the suspect, 23-year-old Tranisa Octavin Trana Watts, was in an argument with 52-year-old Kentoria Nicole Edwards.
Police say Edwards is the grandmother of Watts’ child and had custody. When Watts requested to see her child, Edwards agreed to meet at the Starbucks. Police say during the meeting and argument happened and Watts pulled a pistol and shot the victim several times.
Edwards was rushed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Watts was arrested at the scene. No one else was injured in the shooting.
