A disturbance outside the Heroes Lounge in Dallas turned deadly last night when someone pulled out a gun and started shooting. Police say it happened around 11:30 p.m.
"Witnesses said there was a disturbance in the parking lot and an unknown suspect fired multiple shots and struck the victim," says Sgt. Tramese Jones, with Dallas police.
The 29-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Early reports indicate that the woman was shot inside a car, but police say they haven't confirmed that. They say the shooting is still under investigation and at this point, they're still working to determine how the woman was involved.
The shooter is still on the run and police are asking anyone with information to come forward immediately by contacting Det. Kramer with the Dallas Police Department Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3608.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest.
