A man is in a Fort Worth hospital and the woman accused of stabbing him is locked up.
Monday evening, just past 7 p.m. police got called to the parking lot of a Fiesta Mart grocery store on East Berry near Miller Avenue. They found a man bleeding badly from a cut on the arm.
Officers had to put a tourniquet on the wound until paramedics arrived to rush him to the hospital with a possibly life-threatening wound. He was able to tell police what happened.
According to reports, he and a woman were sitting in front of the store and began to quarrel. He says she had a bottle and smashed it, using it to gash him badly on the arm.
With his information, officers fanned out and found the woman and detained her. Police have not determined what the relationship is between the victim and the suspect.
