Grapevine Police say a woman was killed after she was struck by a car while walking along the northbound lanes of 121.
Police say around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday they got several calls about an unidentified woman walking in a lane of traffic. Several minutes later another driver called 911 to say he struck someone.
Police quickly got on the scene, but say the woman didn't survive. Police say everyone involved cooperated with officers and nobody is facing charges in the woman's death.
Officers shut the highway down while they investigated the crash and a Grapevine fire truck helped block the road. Police say around 1:00 am someone crashed into the fire truck.
Nobody was hurt, but police did arrest the driver for DWI.
