The Dallas County Medical Examiner is working to identify the woman whose body was found in the Trinity River bottoms over the weekend.
Reports say the remains were discovered near the end of Brazos Street, a dirt road running from East Jefferson down into the bottoms south of the Trinity near where I-35 crosses the river.
The Medical Examiner has declared her death a homicide but until they know who she is detectives cannot make much progress toward finding her killer.
