If your dating life has been a series of awkward coffee meetups and ghosting, the Dallas Zoo highly recommends taking some relationship notes from the Bagus and Ivy.
These two adorable otters are now on display after recently arriving in Dallas: Bagus (a dapper 4-year-old) and Ivy (a lovely 7-year-old).
The current relationship statuses? Very taken. ❤️ Bagus + Shug (Our longtime resident) ❤️ Ivy + Berbudi (Another beloved familiar face)
These two power couples have been settling into their habitats, exploring every nook and cranny, and doing plenty of synchronized "scent marking" to declare their love. (Hey, humans get matching tattoos, otters wiggle around to claim their territory together. Don't judge.)
Asian small-clawed otters are famously social and form incredibly strong, lifelong bonds. Watching them find their groove, do some artistic synchronized swimming, and just generally be obsessed with each other has easily been the highlight of our year.
