ARLINGTON — The winner of the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman competition is stripped of her title after event officials say she violated rules requiring athletes to compete based on their biological sex at birth.

Organizers announced this week that Jammie Booker, an American competitor from Philadelphia, is disqualified days after her victory at the Official Strongman Games World Championship in Arlington this past weekend.

According to event officials, Booker failed to disclose that she was born male, a violation they say directly impacts division eligibility. As a result, runner-up Andrea Thompson has been named the new World’s Strongest Woman champion.

Competition organizers did not release additional details about the review process but said Booker’s disqualification followed the discovery of explicit videos online that prompted questions about eligibility. The organization’s rules require all athletes to compete in the category that matches their biological sex as recorded at birth.

The Official Strongman Games, held annually, attract top strength athletes from around the world. This year’s championship brought international attention to Arlington, and officials say all other results from the weekend remain in place.
