A contract dispute between YouTube TV and The Walt Disney Company has led to a blackout of ESPN and ABC channels on the streaming service - just hours before the Dallas Cowboys take the field for Monday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals.

The standoff began after negotiations between the two companies over carriage fees and content terms broke down over the weekend. As a result, YouTube TV subscribers across the country have lost access to Disney-owned networks, including ESPN, ABC, FX, National Geographic, and several others.

The timing is especially frustrating for Cowboys fans, as ESPN holds exclusive broadcast rights for Monday Night Football. While the game will still air on ESPN and ABC for traditional cable and satellite viewers, those watching through YouTube TV will have to look elsewhere.

Local fans can still follow the action live on 105.3 The Fan, which carries the Cowboys Radio Network broadcast throughout North Texas.

Both companies have publicly stated they hope to reach an agreement soon, but as of Monday afternoon, no deal has been announced.
