Now that more people are driving more normally now around the country, car insurance rates are also going up again.
ValuePenguin took a look at the State of Auto Insurance for this year.
It predicts that the average auto insurance plan will hit $1,935 a year. Texas and Wisconsin have the lowest premiums in the country. More than 20 states will see their premiums go up this year.
But, if you get a ticket or get into a wreck this year, Texans will see a bigger increase in those premiums than any other state. Your rates could jump as much as 142 percent.
