This year, the Emmy Awards won't be virtual like they had to be last year, thanks to COVID-19.
But, this year's Emmy Awards will be an OUTDOOR event on the Event Deck right behind the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The Academy says this new way of doing the awards will let it have more social distancing. The number of people in the audience will be much smaller, too.
They are also only working a limited red carpet event before the awards show.
The Emmy's are scheduled for September 19th.
