HOUSTON (1080 KRLD)- The death toll from the Travis Scott concert in Houston last Friday has now risen to nine.

22-year-old, Texas A&M senior Bharti Shahani had been declared "brain dead" earlier this week. Attorney Mohammed Babulsi has confirmed she passed away Thursday.
Shahani suffered 2 heart attacks on her way to the hospital and never regained consciousness. Her Cousin Mohit Bellani was with her at the concert and got the news of her condition at the ER.
Bellani says what happened at the Travis Scott concert wasn’t a tragedy, it’s an atrocity that could have been avoided by the concert organizers.
