Back on! Macy's Fourth of July fireworks to be 'biggest' ever as crowds return

The Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks show will return as a live event this year with crowds after the show was “reimagined” last year because of the pandemic.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said it will be the “biggest” Macy’s fireworks display ever and include a large-scale audience.

“This will be the biggest show yet,” de Blasio said at his morning briefing Thursday. “Literally, Macy’s putting together the biggest fireworks display they ever have.”

“And we know last year we had to do it a very different way. It was great, but it wasn’t that same extravaganza we’re used to. This year, back and literally better than ever,ȁ
