Booster shot proving more effective than first thought

The booster shots are better for our fight against the Omicron variant than first thought.

New research from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston found Omicron antibodies are still in the body four months after the booster shot of Pfizer's vaccine.

The researchers say that the original two-shot regimen also can help prevent severe consequences from the Omicron variant, but it might not be enough to protect against breakthrough cases itself.
