A couple of cities in Texas are named as some of the best places to retire in the United States.
Forbes looked at the top cities where you can live your life after you finish working, and you don't have to spend all of your retirement just getting by. It checked out fine dining, activities, like golf and the arts, as well as outdoor activities, and learning new things.
It also looked at doctors, crime rates, and air quality. It didn't take into account the cost of housing.
Dallas and Austin both land in the top 25, right alongside every place from New York and San Francisco to Ann Arbor, Michigan and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
