Study finds Cowboys fans have the most tattoos of their team in any sports league

You’ll never be able to say that Cowboys fans don’t really care about their team.

New research has found that Cowboys fans have more tattoos of their team than any other fanbase in not just the NFL, but every other major league!

This according to new data from TicketSource, which used Google search data and Instagram hashtags to determine which NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL teams have been the most tattooed by their fans.

According to WFAA, Cowboys fans lead the way with 38,200 Google searches related to team-specific tattoos, and the only team in the four leagues that’s even close to those numbers is the Buffalo Bills, where the Bills Mafia placed second with 34,300 team-specific searches for tattoos on Google.

The Chicago Bulls were the top NBA team, and third on the list, with 19,800 Google searches. The Atlanta Braves were the highest-ranked MLB team with 16,320 Google searches, good for fourth, and no NHL team cracked the top-10.
