Ask the Expert: How did the government negotiate lower drug prices through Medicare?

The President and Vice President announced Thursday that it's managed to lower drug prices for seniors through Medicare.

The first cutbacks happen for 10 different medications, starting in 2026.
There are some very recognized names in the list, like Jardiance, Xarelto, and diabetes medications.

On Friday's Ask The Expert, Chiquita Brooks-LaSure joined us from the White House. She is the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
