The world felt its worst last year, more than at any time in the 21st century.
The Gallup Poll released its "Negative Experience Index". It looks at different ways that people reacted to the year in more than a hundred countries around the world.
40 percent said they dealt with worry or stress on the day that Gallup took the survey in 2020.. That represents 190 million people around the world.
30 percent had some kind of physical pain. One in four went through sadness or anger that day.
The country with the greatest "Negative Experience" was Iraq. That's followed by Lebanon and Peru. Taiwan had the lowest.
