Our App today is called Threads. Mark Zuckerberg told the world that he wanted to take on Elon Musk and his ownership of Twitter. His new chat app launched this week with a positive early response from the early adopters.
If you have an Instagram account, it's easy to get set up. The app takes your information from Instagram and converts it to the Threads interface. You can have your friends and followers join you on the app. If you sign up, you will be able to send friend requests to your Instagram contacts and connect if they decide to sign up for the service.
Threads say it's where you can get together to talk about issues that matter to you and the topics that are trending. You can add words, pictures, links, and videos. Share what you think, just like you would on Elon's service.
Threads is a brand new app from Instagram's parent company. It's free on iTunes and Android.
