The pair weren't having a fight over rent or the cleanliness of their place, though. Apparently, Shavers and his roommate were arguing over what mosquitoes looked like, and it erupted into violence.

According to CBS 7, Shavers grabbed a wooden stick and beat his roommate over the head with it before the man was able to grab a metal baseball bat to defend himself.

The roommate hit Shavers several times with the bat during the tussle.

The fight eventually broke up, and both men were treated at the hospital for their injuries; The roommate required multiple stitches on his face.

Police arrested Shavers on an outstanding warrant, and also charged him with assault.

A judge ordered him to be held on a $28,000 bond.
