An alleged erotic massage turned deadly on Saturday after a man refused to pay the woman performing the service and another man, making the house call with her, shot him in the back, police shared.

On Saturday, Inver Grove Heights police responded to an attempted home invasion call blocks away from the police department, according to a criminal complaint obtained by News Talk 830 WCCO.

When officers arrived at the home, they found the glass back door shattered, and upon entering, they located bloody footprints on the carpet, and the homeowner, Michael Chang-Beom Lee, 43, shot dead in his bathroom, the complaint said.

At the same time, other officers were conducting a traffic stop nearby. Inside the vehicle was 25-year-old Logan Slack and 25-year-old Fotini West.

Officers noticed that West had blood on her arms and chest. Thinking that she had been assaulted, paramedics were called to the scene of the stop, the complaint said.

When West was asked what happened, she said that she went to a man’s house, and when she attempted to leave, he assaulted her. At that point, she said she called Slack, but the next thing she remembered was being carried out, the complaint said.

During the traffic stop, officers were requested to take a picture of the sole of Slack’s shoe by those investigating the home invasion to see if it matched the footprints they had found. The two were then taken into custody.

According to the complaint, after being interviewed by investigators, the pair told officers they went to the home so West could perform an “erotic massage” on Lee “in exchange for money,” but he refused to pay.

West reported leaving the residence after he said he wouldn’t pay, so she contacted Slack, who obtained a revolver and forced his way into the home, according to the complaint.

Lee reportedly ran into his basement away from the pair, and they followed while Slack shot him in the back.

Slack and West are both charged with second-degree murder in relation to the shooting.
