Pickles are one of those food items people either love or hate. While some pick pickles off whatever dish they are served on, others can eat them whole straight from the jar. Apparently Matthew McConaughey is on team pickle, and the actor recently let fans know about his love of pickles in the most Matthew McConaughey way possible.
In celebration of National Pickle Day over the weekend, actor Matthew McConaughey took to social media to share his love of the brined cucumber. The self-described “pickle expert” decided to give a lesson on how a cucumber becomes a pickle, sharing all the joys that come from the process. “Does it mature with age like a fine wine, does it get better and become — a pickle? Not as firm as it once was, got a few more bumps on it, it even shrunk. But let’s see what it tastes like,” said McConaughey before taking a bite.
According to Bro Bible, the video has been liked over 80,000 times since being shared. While many agreed with McConaughey’s views on pickles, others weren’t convinced. Even McConaughey can’t end this debate.
