Former boxing champ Mike Tyson suffered a medical emergency on a flight from Miami to LAX Sunday night.
His representatives confirmed to multiple outlets that Tyson became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up.
“Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,” his rep wrote in an email to the New York Post.
The statement concluded, “He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
Passengers told In Touch Weekly that 30 minutes before the landing, there was a pre-recorded announcement asking whether there were any medical professionals aboard.
There was reportedly a two-hour delay prior to the flight taking off; however, his representatives said that was due to an issue with the plane.
Tyson, 57, is currently preparing to fight Jake Paul on July 20.
