Over 1,000 U.S. museums will offer free or reduced-price tickets this summer

This summer, over 1,000 U.S. museums will offer free or reduced-price tickets to low-income families through the Museums for All program. And there are many here in North Texas that are participating.

KRLD was joined by Laura Huerta Migus, deputy director, at the Office of Museum Services.

Some of the participating museums right here in North Texas include:

Dallas

The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas

Fort Worth

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame
Kimbell Art Museum
Log Cabin Village
Fort Worth Aviation Museum
Fort Worth Botanic Garden
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

McKinney

Heard-Craig Center for the Arts

Irving

Irving Archives & Museum
