Early on, police believed the man had been killed during a robbery but now they say that's not so. Furthermore, El Paso PD says the victim was not shot as was originally reported.

The new information was released because, as a police statement puts it "...the El Paso Police Department has received several calls asking about the safety of the airport."

Police believe the employee and the other person knew one another but they're not ready to say what led up to the killing.
