There's another great reason why you might want to drop a few pounds for your heart health. There's new research that finds that weight loss is a good thing for your heart over the long run. But, the better news is... you don't really have to sweat it if you put some of that weight back on.

This comes from some clinical trials with more than 50,000 people taking part. People who lost weight through behavior programs saw their heart disease risks drop. That lower risk lasts for years, even if they put on some of the weight again.
