Last week the Guinness Book of World Records announced one of its newest record holders, Tanya Herbert, who at a woman’s size 18 has the world’s largest feet.

What is it like to hold a world record? This week, the “Something Offbeat” podcast found out by interviewing three Guinness record holders.

Comedian and influencer Samantha Ramsdell joined us from her home on the East Cost to share what it’s like to have the widest mouth in the world.

“You know, I… joked that it was like really the kids of TikTok you know, the children of the TikTok that really were like, that is a large mouth,” she said. “And you need to, you know, look into the Guinness World Records.”

Rosa and Rachel Stead of South Africa-based Funerex Africa also joined the show to explain how they organized the world’s longest parade of hearses, and why they plan to do it again.

“It was actually fantastic to see the funeral industry in South Africa come together because as Rachel said, if you look at the industry and South Africa is very fragmented in terms of all the associations,” Rosa explained.
