Steak n’ Shake is going big on patriotism. The restaurant chain says it will install the largest American flags allowed by local governments at every one of its locations across the country.
The company announced the plan over the weekend, calling it a nationwide display of pride and unity. Each restaurant will fly an American flag on a pole as tall as zoning laws permit, with installations expected to roll out in the coming months.
Steak n’ Shake, founded in Illinois in 1934, operates more than 400 restaurants nationwide, including several in North Texas. The company says the new initiative is intended to be a visible show of appreciation for the country and those who serve it.
The move comes at a time when several major brands have launched high-profile patriotic campaigns, aiming to connect with customers through symbolic gestures and community visibility.
