The Coronavirus may be hurting the youngest children in ways that no one thought of before.
Researchers at Brown University say that babies born during the pandemic have lower IQs as well as worse verbal and motor skills than babies born before COVID-19.
They estimate that the average IQs for children between three months to three years dropped from 100 pre-COVID to around 79 during COVID.
The scientists say babies should recover from the issue after the pandemic.
