The Supreme Court of Texas is deciding a case that could impact the future of service animals.

"When the doctor says 'I certify this dog," that's beyond the scope of what doctors are to do... It's just not something that a doctor is supposed to do. It is so beyond what he is trained to handle," says Attorney Kyle Herbert.

If the court agrees, doctors may be less likely to approve service animals, even if they're needed.
