That is right. The Amber Alert above released Friday morning for the disappearance of Glen, a five-year-old boy wearing a blue shirt with black collar at a height of 2'3'' with red or auburn hair.

Local authorities listed the primary suspect as Chucky, a 28-year-old doll, measuring 3'1" in height and wearing "blue denim overalls with multi-colored striped long sleeve shirt wielding a huge kitchen knife."

Glen is the son of Chucky, a character from the popular horror series. The fictional character was first introduced in the film "Seed of Chucky" in 2004, according to IMDb,

While the alert appeared to be a mistake, it was sent out via email three separate times to subscribers of the Texas Alerts System Friday morning.

In a comment made to KENS5 in San Antonio, DPS said, "This alert is a result of a test malfunction. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused and are diligently working to ensure this does not happen again."

According to the DPS website, the department "coordinates the dissemination of qualifying missing person advisories involving the below resource partners, known as the State Network."
