Well this man in Austin found a way to profit off of messing with telemarketers, and over the past 11 months, has made $75,000 doing so!

Dan Graham was sick of getting calls from telemarketers, and honestly who wouldn't.

Because he works as a financial consultant, so he's forced to pick up every call that he receives, and about half of them ended up being spam calls.

Adding his number to the Do Not Call list, and complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau didn't do any good, so last April, he decided to sue one of the companies that kept calling him!

And he WON! Well, they technically settled, because he showed that they violated the "Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act."

In the last 11 months, Graham has filed 50 more lawsuits, and has made $75,000 in settlements!

Graham told KXAN that some of the companies didn't even know that the lawsuits were happening, as a lot of them use outside contractors for marketing. And once they found out, they stopped.
