When models strutted down the runway at the Balenciaga show, they had what appeared to be Lay's Potato chips by their side.
There are no actual potato chips inside the bag, but it is crinkled - on purpose - and it is leather and this one is actually branded with the Balenciaga name. One more BIG difference is this bag will cost you $1800 versus the usual $4 price tag.
Balenciaga's creative director Demna Gvasalia posted a picture of the bags on his Instagram. The lined leather bag has a zip closure and will come in at least four flavors including original, flamin' hot, limon, and salt & vinegar. The bags will go on sale next year.
