The latest holiday scam involves your phone, text messages and someone claiming to be the US Postal Service.
The text message says something like, "There's been a problem with a delivery. Click on a provided link to get it fixed" and it's part of a scam.
Postal inspector Paul Ecker says just delete it without responding or clicking on the link. However. If you already have fallen for this one, pay attention to your stuff like "if you have seen any unusual activity on your cellphone or your bank account.
The two giveaways are the following: the Postal Service does not text you as they don't know your number. The other thing, the text is sent from an international number that starts with something like +63. The US Postal Service doesn't have an office in the Philippines.
