A huge fight broke out on Monday night at a San Bernardino County Target, leaving shoppers and workers looking on as a group of at least four men began throwing punches at another man inside the store.
Videos of the fight show the man holding one of his attackers in a headlock while the others circle him and begin hitting him.
One witness, Laura Sanchez, spoke with KTLA about the incident, saying that “it was four against one.”
“We just heard noises in the background, and out of nowhere, they just come up and started fighting,” Sanchez said. “We’re like, ‘What happened?’”
A video shared with the media outlet showed one Target employee telling customers to move away from the fight.
Sanchez alleged that one of the boys was yelling that he was only 13 years old while the fight raged on, but it is unclear if it was the victim or one of the attackers.
“I just heard one of the teenage boys saying, ‘I’m 13, I’m 13! You can’t put your hands on me,’” Sanchez recalled.
The Redlands Police Department was notified of the brawl, and officers quickly responded to the store, where they found the victim.
The victim reportedly told officers he was not interested in speaking with them. No charges were reported from the department.
The incident remains under investigation.
