While many preschoolers are just starting to recognize letters and numbers, a 4-year-old boy from Britain has already memorized all 195 world flags and can point out every country in the world on a map.
Arthur Weekley has become the latest internet sensation, astonishing his family and friends with his "genius" memory skills.
"It's all self-taught. We don't go through and teach him everything, he does it by himself," Arthur's father Bobby told British news media outlet SWNS.
The youngster's fascination with flags started when he was just two, and his father gave him a puzzle with different flags on it. The more he played, Arthur started remembering the flags of different countries -- from Brazil and the Marshall Islands to Uganda, Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
"Now he's four and as well as knowing all the flags, he has now memorized all the shapes of countries and where they are in the world," Bobby told SWNS. "It's seriously impressive and still shocks us now."
Some have accused Bobby of guiding his son as he identifies the flags, but he insists it's all Arthur.
"People think I cheated and told Arthur before but I haven't," he told SWNS. "I tell people to show him a flag and he immediately gets it."
"It always amazes me every time he does it," Bobby added.
Arthur is now set on the challenge of identifying all the states on a map of North America.
