This was the case for one Wisconsin driver who was cited for going 112 mph on an Eau Claire County freeway earlier this month.

The Wisconsin State Patrol clearly couldn’t believe the efforts of the driver to escape the ticket either, posting about the situation on Facebook.

The driver was ticketed for going more than 25 mph over the posted 70 mph speed limit. This citation will result in the driver’s license being suspended for 15 days upon conviction.

“The party will always be there,” the Facebook post stated. “Please slow down and arrive alive.”
