A woman in Iowa was placed under arrest Tuesday after she attempted to rob a bank through the drive-thru window.
Lisa Stenberg, 51, was taken into custody after allegedly passing a note to the teller demanding cash.
Rather than fulfill the request, the First National Bank teller phoned the cops, according to the Council Bluffs Police Department.
Stenberg tried to flee in her vehicle upon the arrival of the CBPD, but they caught up to her a short distance away and placed her under arrest.
Stenberg has been charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree theft.
