An Odessa couple remain jailed on capital murder charges after they were arrested this week because of an eight-year-old girl's death at their home over the summer.
Daniel and Ashley Schwarz are accused of forcing the girl to jump on a trampoline as punishment on a blistering August day and without water.
Police suggest that the temperature on the trampoline must have been at least 110 that day.
The couple were arrested after the autopsy report came back last week. Police describe the Schwarzes as the non-biological parents of the little girl.
