One person has been killed by a car on 635-LBJ in north Dallas.
Police say just before midnight, the victim was struck on west-bound 635 near Coit, just past the High Five.

Police and paramedics arrived only to find the victim had already died.
The passenger side of the car's windshield was shattered by the impact. The driver was not reported injured.
All west-bound main lines were immediately closed and remained closed for hours for the clean-up and investigation.
There had been heavy rain in that part of Dallas leading up to the incident but investigators are not saying if that had anything to do with it.
