One person has died in a Dallas crash involving a DART bus that struck a pedestrian overnight.

Reports say the crash was just before midnight on the north-bound side of the Dallas North Tollway near Maple Avenue in Oak Lawn. The impact broke out part of the bus's windshield.
The victim was dead on-scene and police spent hours investigating but they're not yet sure why the victim was on foot on the Tollway.
All north-bound lanes were closed including the transition ramp from north-bound I-35E.
